Hello, I'm Cian

About Me

I research how artificial intelligence changes the way people spend their time in the urban environment. My research is based in Wuhan, China and explores how time spent within autonomous vehicles can be used as a lens to explore the dissolution of boundaries between labour and non-labour time.

I am interested in the social implications of AI, with a focus on how AI reshapes our experience of time and space in urban environments. I aim to contribute to critical discussions about technological futures and the changing nature of work. Time is the lens to view value in a digital world

I am based in Trinity College Dublin and funded by an ADVANCE CRT scholarship.
